Gastroenterology Consultants of North Jersey offer diagnosis and treatment of esophagus, stomach, colon, and small intestinal diseases in addition to liver, gall bladder, and pancreas problems. Common diseases include gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD; stomach and duodenal ulcers, colon polyps, and cancers, as well as inflammatory bowel diseases, irritable bowel syndrome, gall stones, and pancreatitis. We also treat liver diseases including hepatitis and cirrhosis.
Gastrointestinal diagnosis requires endoscopy, which is a highly reliable and thorough test for detecting polyps, cancer, ulcers, and other diseases of the digestive tract. Our practice provides upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, and capsule endoscopy in our New Jersey and Brooklyn offices as well as at outpatient surgical centers or at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. These procedures are performed with the latest equipment from leaders in the manufacturing of endoscopic equipment. We use intravenous sedation and monitoring administered by well-qualified anesthesiologists. Routine endoscopic procedures can be performed in our comfortable facilities without the lengthy time and constraint of a hospital stay. Dr. Gorodokin is board-certified in Gastroenterology by the American
Board of Internal Medicine and is well versed in various endoscopic procedures. Dr. Gorodokin speaks a number of languages including English, Russian, Polish, French, and Spanish.
